Riding with Randy
If you have seen the Fort Payne Chamber of Commerce car, you have seen Randy Posey. I laugh and tell people I am never alone in my travels, Randy Posey and Bobby Ledbetter are always with me. Randy Posey, an agent/owner of Allstate in Fort Payne, is one of our newest members to the Chamber Board of Directors, joining us this year. If you see Randy out and about this week, his birthday was Tuesday, wish him Happy Birthday.
Randy is married to Jami, and they have one son, Fisher, who is two years old. A graduate of Fort Payne High School, Randy went on to graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a BS in Economics, where he was also a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.
He has always been business minded, starting his first business in college. Randy made custom tee shirts for Greek organizations, whichpaid for his honeymoon. He also plays the guitar, and maybe that could be tied back to his college days as well? After graduation, Randy found himself ready to move back home and start a family. In 2014 Randy was approached about becoming an Allstate Agent.
Randy researched the opportunity and decided the career move was nicely aligned with his interests and goals in life. He began working for an Allstate Agent in 2014 and, in 2015, purchased his own Allstate Agency, Posey Agency.
Randy is active in civic organizations in Fort Payne as well, he is vice president of the Kiwanis Club of Fort Payne and a member of the Fort Payne Optimist Club. Randy and Jami are very active in the community and participate whenever and wherever they can.
When asked about what he likes about being an Allstate Agent, he says he loves the task of assessing a family’s insurance needs and offering a great product from such a reliable company, while earning the trust of that individual during the process.
Randy’s newest role is helping spearhead the Rising Leaders of DeKalb a group for those ages 16-35 who are excited to move Fort Payne forward. If you would like more information about Allstate or the Rising Leaders of DeKalb group, let Randy know by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org. We appreciate you Randy and your commitment to Fort Payne and the Fort Payne Chamber of Commerce.
